The singer became the third star to be knocked out of the competition on a particularly drama-filled third week.

Rachel Stevens and her professional skating partner Brendyn Hatfield became the third couple to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice last night (8 February).

The pair, who were saved from the skate-off last week, lost to Olympian Kye Whyte and his partner Tippy Packard.

As reported in RTE, the former S Club 7 member said of the show: “It’s definitely been a process. I have really loved it.

“It’s been an amazing experience. I loved dancing with Brendyn so much.”

She also explained how happy she was that her daughters got to see her perform and how “special” it was for them to have been a part of the journey.

She added: “It’s so special for them to have been a part of it and to have shared it with them, and I’ve just had the best time. It’s been amazing.”

This week’s Dancing On Ice was full of highs and lows.

Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt scored a 37.5 for her Tango routine, which was the highest score of the series so far.

Things took a turn, however, when The Vamps musician Connor Ball re-opened the cut on his chin during his Charleston routine and had the Paramedics on standby.

He still managed to score an impressive 34 despite the injury.

Bez lightened the mood, of course, when he took to the ice with his Scottish-themed dance complete with a kilt and bagpipe. He scored the lowest out of the skaters but was saved by the public vote once again.

Something else was different about the show this week as well.

Host Phillip Schofield was unable to attend for the first time after testing positive for Covid-19. Taking his place, instead, was presenter Stephen Mulhern.

Paying homage to her partner in crime, Holly said at the top of the show: “I know he’s watching at home. We are sending you lots of love, Phil.”

She continued: “However, the lovely Stephen Mulhern has stepped in to save the day.”

Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday 12th February at 6:30pm.
