The Texas frontwoman was back in the building after her stint covering Kate Lawler on Drivetime, and this time joined Graham Norton to chat about the band's new music.

Their newest single Mr Haze features Donna Summer's 'Love's Unkind' and will appear on their upcoming album 'Hi', which is set for release on the 28th May.

"It puts such a smile on your face because you go "I know this"" she said of the sample. "Everybody picks out a Donna Summer track and that is not the one they ever picks but everybody loves it and everybody knows it. It's just such a good feel-good song, Mr Haze, when you put it on you feel happy and you want to dance"

Confirming the album is made entirely of new music from the band, Sharleen commented on the band's adventure through the archives as they tried to come up with something to celebrate various album and track anniversaries.

"We went into the vaults to look for putting something together for Universal, and we were like "let's try and find stuff that's never been heard before and there was loads of it, and we kind of went "Maybe we should just put a whole album together of that" and then we went "What are we doing? Let's just write a completely new album".

The record was even finished before lockdown started, but the band weren't quite ready to release it considering the tone of the time.

"But we wrote another three songs over the first lockdown and added them to the album, and did a little bit of jiggedy-pokity messing around with it..."

Soon enough, we'll hear the full edition! For now, we have the tracklist:
