Peter Gabriel announces new Nottingham date for tour

Peter Gabriel fans now have another date to attend, as he has added a Nottingham date to his upcoming i/o tour.
The star is set to play Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena on June 20.
This tour will see him playing his first solo shows outside of North America since 2014’s Back to Front Tour.
In a statement he says: "It’s been a while and I am now surrounded by a whole lot of new songs and am excited to be taking them out on the road for a spin. Look forward to seeing you out there."
The i/o tour is named after his forthcoming new studio album.
He will be performing a selection of tracks from the new album as well as raiding the archives of his back catalogue.
As yet there a release date hasn't been announced for i/o.
Fans have been waiting patiently for the new music, as it has been a whopping 21 years since his last studio album, 2002's Up.
Gabriel has released new singles Panopticom and The Court, after announcing that he will be releasing music whenever there is a full moon.
This means fans will have a new tune to look forward to roughly every month.
