If you love a good menu hack, you'll be interested to learn that McDonald’s is making four new customer-inspired creations available.
After taking suggestions on social media, the restaurant chain is offering four new burgers, which merge together existing items on the menu. They are the Hash Brown McMuffin, the Crunchy Double, the Surf and Turf and the Land, Air and Sea.
To give you a couple of examples of what these new food offerings are, the Land, Air & Sea is basically a chicken sandwich, Big Mac and Filet-O-Fish together, while the Crunchy Double is essentially a double cheeseburger filled with six chicken nuggets.
The components of each burger will be sold as separate sandwiches and customers will then build them themselves.
If this is making your tummy rumble, then the bad news is that these menu-hacks, while being rolled out on January 31st, will only be available in US restaurants.
The better news is that, with not too much effort, you can make a decent approximation of them yourself in the UK, just by ordering the right things from the menu.
If you want to make a Hash Brown McMuffin, then simply take a Sausage and Egg McMuffin and a Hash Brown. Stick them together and, hey presto, you’ve got yourself a Hash Brown McMuffin.
To create your own Surf and Turf, buy a Filet O-Fish and a Double Cheeseburger. Take the top part of the bun off the Filet O-Fish and stick the rest of it between the two beef patties. Job done!
The Crunchy Double will require you to buy a double cheeseburger and a box of McNuggets. Add some bbq sauce to nuggs, stick them in your burger, and there you have it.
Lastly, if you are feeling extra hungry, then get yourself a Big Mac, a McChicken Sandwich and a Filet O-Fish to create your own Land, Air and Sea! Basically, just stack them all together, maybe taking out the odd bun here and there, and get stuck in!
