Friends star Courteney Cox joins Jennifer Aniston & Lisa Kudrow for a 4th July reunion

It's Friends: The Reunion Part 2. Almost. Just without the boys. The iconic trio delighted fans as they met up to celebrate the US holiday over the weekend. Courteney Cox hooked up with best friend Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow on Independence Day documented on Instagram. 

Sharing the picture with her followers, she captioned it: “Happy 4th! xoxo." Also joining the party was Jurassic Park star Laura Dern who appeared in the second picture with the Friends actress. 

It's thought to be the first time the stars have met up since the tear-jerking reunion special aired earlier in May that warmed hearts worldwide. 

A host of celebrity friends commented on the photos wishing them a happy holiday including Michelle Pfeiffer, Trudie Styler and David Spade.

The welcome news that Jennifer and co-star David Schwimmer had feelings for each other in real life was revealed on the show and the actress recently remarked on why they never actually hooked up offscreen.

Appearing on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show last week, the host quizzed her about it and why she didn't "bang" David.

She replied: "He was lovely, David was great. We were in relationships and it was always never the right time and it wouldn't have worked," she claimed.

"The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channeled everything into Ross and Rachel and I think that's maybe why it resonated the way it did.

"But no, we never, on my life got together. And Courteney and Lisa would know if it did because they would've heard about it. They can vouch for me.

"Howard's not going to believe me. No, I would proudly say I 'banged' Schwimmer if that happened. But no."
