The Late Late Show's James Corden to host 2017 Grammy Awards

James Corden has been unveiled as the host of the Grammy Awards 2017. 

The actor, who starred in  and several Hollywood films like , has shot to global fame as the host of the in the US.

He will preside over the 59th incarnation of the music industry's most presitigious event, which takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles next February.

While no stranger to presenting award shows - having hosted the BRITS four times - it is the first time he will host the Grammys.

In a press release, he said: “I am truly honoured to be hosting the Grammys next year.

“It’s the biggest, most prestigious award show in music, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an incredible night.”
