Aaron Taylor-Johnson has had yet another big name rooting for him to land the coveted role of James Bond.

The Fall Guy director David Leitch is the latest name to throw their weight behind the Bullet Train actor, after they worked together on the new film.

Aaron stars in The Fall Guy alongside Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.

Leitch has raved about Aaron and his skills onscreen, having also worked with him on Bullet Train.

"He would be an amazing James Bond. I’ll just go on the record like, I’ve never gotten to do enough action with Aaron, which is crazy," he said.

David told CinemaBlend: "We’ve done Bullet Train and now, we’ve done The Fall Guy. What I really want to do is an action movie with him, because he’s such an incredible athlete. Like, Aaron is awesome."

Leitch has directed the likes of John Wick and Deadpool 2 so it's safe to say he knows his stuff.

"So, maybe we’ll get that opportunity soon, and I’ll get to direct Bond", he joked, raising an eyebrow at the camera.

It has previously been reported that Taylor-Johnson has officially been offered the role of Bond, to take over from Daniel Craig.

However, it has since been denied, with Aaron refusing to comment on the speculation.

The BBC quoted Eon Productions as saying they don't comment on speculation, however a “production insider has told BBC News there is ‘no truth in the rumours.’”

The Sun’s source had claimed: “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it. The formal offer is on the table and they are waiting to hear back.

“As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days and they can start preparing for the big announcement.”

We'll have to wait and see!
