Former Health Secretary Matt Hancock took to Tik Tok to lip sync a song from the Barbie movie, causing users to react with...mixed reviews.
Following other supposedly 'relatable' appearances on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and SAS Who Dares Wins, Matt Hancock attempted to cash in on the recent box-office success of Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie.
Appearing to be on luxurious beach holiday, the MP took time out of his extended break from politics to perform a rendition of 'I'm Just Ken', made famous by Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken alongside Margot Robbie's Barbie.
Dressed in linen white, Hancock gives his all to the performance, flailing his arms about and mugging his face for all its worth.
Mattel are yet to comment on whether his ballad belting has inspired a new line of 'Politician on holiday Ken' dolls, but Hancock seems eager for the call.
Another call he is still yet to receive is from Strictly, yet his popping and busting of moves has definitely instigated a viral reaction online.
It seems his moves aren't quite 'Kenough' to win over many fans.
One twitter user who seemed unimpressed said: "I regret opening twitter on a Monday morning even more now, thanks,"
"Desperate man trying to be famous!!" another added.
Fellow Conservative MP Michael Take confused many with his comment: "Just [love] this! Matt Hancock is a hero to millions & he is now going to endear himself to millions more with this sassy mime to a wrap song from the Barbara Doll film.
"Bronzed, Cocked, Funky, Spunked And throbbing Matt exudes an odour of seepage & ripe gussets."
Quite exactly what Take is trying to say here is unclear to us, but at least Hancock has draw some praise for unloading his previously unknown ambitions for the stage onto the rest of us.
Other famous commentators have included journalist and Celebrity Big Brother star India Willoughby, who said: "This is the stage where Alan Partridge drove to Norwich in his bare feet.
"Given what happened during Covid, I don’t think Matt Hancock has anything to sing about."
One celeb who has remained suspiciously quiet on the matter, so far, is Liam Gallagher.
The Oasis star previously chided Hancock's appearance in the jungle and has also made previous comments on Hancock's policies while he was Heath Secretary.
Virgin Radio aptly anticipates the Rock 'N' Roll Star's thoughts.
