Rylan Clark replies to Big Brother host rumours after Strictly It Takes Two exit

Could Rylan Clark be waltzing away from Strictly spin-off It Takes Two and onto Big Brother as the new presenter? The TV star is leaving the dancing show after four years and has got fans in a state about his next small screen move.

While the 34-year-old has told viewers that it’s time to hang up his glittery jacket and let someone else take over, fans have predicted he's off to host the upcoming Big Brother revival.

One excited fan tweeted: “Does this mean you've had the BIG BROTHER JOB? X @Rylan please say YES!!”

Another posted: "Hopefully you’ll be hosting @bbuk which is due to be on around the same time as Strictly."

A third agreed: “Big Bruvvvva incoming?"

Another fan wrote: "Not that I am jumping to conclusions or anything but I AM JUMPING… It Tales Two was always going to clash… with Big Brother…? #BBUK."

Rylan replied to buzzing fans: “Ur jumping sadly."

The role as Big Brother host is yet to be confirmed, but fans are hoping former Celebrity Big Brother winner Rylan will front the show.

The star of the eleventh series went onto present its spin-off, Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, from 2013 to 2018.

He told fans about leaving Strictly: “After four fantastic years it’s time for me to hang up my glittery jacket and say goodbye to It Takes Two.

“I’ve had the best time hosting the show alongside Janette and Zoe [Ball] and I can’t thank the amazing team enough for always putting on a great show.

“I’ve been welcomed into the Strictly family and will firmly hold that title dear to me.

“The time has come for me to pass on the baton to someone else and explore what else life has for me. Thank you Strictly, you will always have my heart… and dancing feet."

Big Brother is coming to TV screens soon and is set to air this autumn.
