How excited are we? Iconic Pulp Fiction stars Bruce Willis and John Travolta are going gun-to-gun against each other for their upcoming action movie Paradise City - one of the last movies Willis made before announcing his retirement.

The first trailer, set in Hawaii, sees the pair reunite for the film also starring Stephen Dorff, Blake Jenner and Praya Lundberg.

The official synopsis reads: "When bounty hunter Ian Swan (Willis) is shot and presumed dead after disappearing in Maui waters, Swan's son Ryan (Jenner), his ex-partner (Dorff) and a local detective (Lundberg) set out to find his killers.

"After being threatened by a ruthless power broker (Travolta), it appears Ryan and his team are out of options," the synopsis adds, "until an excursion to the closely guarded island community of Paradise City unites them with an unforeseen ally."

The trailer shows the pair in action, with Travolta - who plays 'a stone-cold killer, tied to the cartels' - asking Willis: "Are you dangerous?"

Willis simply replies: "Not to my friends."

Travolta's character replies: "Well, that's too bad, because I have enough friends."

"Looks awesome!! Can’t wait to see both of them together again!! Some of my favourite actors ever," said one excited fan.

"This looks more promising, and entertaining than Bruce Willis usual direct to video garbage. Seems like he was coherent and put more effort in because of Travolta. Budget looks better too. This should be how we remember Bruce Willis. Ending on a high, good note.

Another simply said: "Wow."

Paradise City is directed by Nightmare on Elm Street and The Mask's Chuck Russell, and lands in cinemas on November 11.
