Jackie Weaver will appear on Celebrity Mastermind with a surprising subject

Internet star Jackie Weaver really loves Vin Diesel.

She's a huge fan of The Chronicles of Riddick, and has chosen it as her specialist subject to take part in the iconic quiz show Celebrity Mastermind.

Weaver shot to fame after a video of the Handforth Parish Council Planning and Environment Committee went viral in February 2021.

Thanks to her no-nonsense attitude, Weaver became a household name with many phrases from the meeting becoming famous quotes.

She has since appeared on the likes of Loose Women, Good Morning Britain and BBC Breakfast, and now she's set to sit in the world-famous Mastermind chair.

Her specialist subject is the Vin Diesel franchise, The Chronicles of Riddick, according to The Independent .

The series features Vin Diesel, Karl Urban and Thandiwe Newton.

A trilogy, the series spans from the 2000 film Pitch Black, to 2013's Riddick.

It was written by Ken and Jim Wheat.

She will face a series of questions all about the films.

Weaver will be joined on the programme by comedian Ellie Taylor, Blue's Anthony Costa, and former England goalkeeper David James.

Their specialist subjects are Grease the Musical, Geri Halliwell from the Spice Girls, and the pop artist Roy Lichtenstein.

Other stars include Tracey Beaker's Dani Harmer, comedian James Acaster, and the winner of the Drag Race UK season one, The Vivienne.

More recently, Louis Theroux tried to answer questions about himself from a recent episode of Mastermind, and even he couldn't answer them all.
