An exciting roundup of Halloween films are coming back to Netflix at the beginning of next month.

Netflix has announced an exciting list of spooky films coming to the platform just in time for halloween. Whether you’re after a lighthearted family flick or something truly scary, there’s options for everyone this spooky season!

As announced in posts to their social media platforms, there will be films entirely new to Netflix as well as some old favourites returning from the archives.

If you’re in the mood to get spooked, users can check out Martin Scorcese’s famous psychological thriller Shutter Island, starring Leonard DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo. It follows two US marshals sent to an insane asylum on a remote island to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a patient, but everything is not as it seems.

If you’re in the mood for something a little more light-hearted for your spooky fix, the hilarious Addams Family Values is making a return to Netflix. The iconic 90s comedy follows the bizarre gothic Addams family in their endeavours to save their Uncle Fester from his murderous gold-digging new wife. Catch Christina Ricci in one of her earlier roles as Wednesday Addams, joined by Anjelica Huston, Joan Cusack, and Carol Kane.

If Halloween isn’t your thing there are still plenty of options coming to Netflix next month. Highlights include Spider Man (both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s renditions), iconic 90s chick flick Clueless, and Austin Powers. We might leave Contagion for now though- still a little close to home!
