TV personality Ollie Locke has announced that he and his husband will be giving away a treasured piece of memorabilia for the Matthew Perry Foundation.

Locke made the announcement in an Instagram post on Wednesday, explaining that they would be auctioning off an original Friends script because as long-time fans of the show, they wanted to support the charity of the late star, Perry, who passed away last autumn.

“As huge Friends fans last year we were all devastated by the passing of Matthew Perry and having had him make us laugh for so many years during our own difficult times, it seemed only right for someone else to cherish this very rare script and raise some money for a wonderful foundation that Matthew set up to help others in need.” the Made In Chelsea star wrote.

Explaining the rarity and significance of the document, the reality star wrote: “The original table read script is from the iconic episode ‘When Rachel Has Her Baby’ meaning it would have been in the room with all the cast members when scenes were being read out loud for the first time.”

“It was very likely to have been used by one of the cast. It’s signed by all six of them and even has the original writings before the final edit, which is very rare,” he claimed.

It’s predicted that a script like this for the episode The One Where Rachel Has a Baby Part II is due to sell for between £5,000 and £8,000 when it is auctioned off at Hanson Ross' auction house in Royston, Hertfordshire, on 12th April.

Locke urged his wealthier fans to bid for the script to help make a difference: “This is your chance to own a hugely special piece of Friends history, signed by the whole cast and also helping to raise some money for a wonderful charity!”

“All my love and good luck Xx,” he signed off.
