Heart legend Ann Wilson has revealed she has cancer, and the band have postponed all shows.

The Alone hit-makers had previously confirmed the postponement of the UK Royal Flush tour, but band band are encouraging fans to “hold on to their tickets as they will be honoured for the rescheduled dates”.

Ann shared that the “time-sensitive” medical procedure she had told fans about in late May was to remove something that “as it turns out, was cancerous”.

She added: “The operation was successful & I’m feeling great but my doctors are now advising me to undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy & I’ve decided to do it. And so my doctors are instructing me to take the rest of the year away from the stage in order to fully recover.”

Addressing her "dear friends", she added: "To the ticket buyers, I really do wish we could do these gigs."

"Please know that I absolutely plan to be back on stage in 2025. My team is getting those details sorted and well let you know the plan as soon as we can."

"Thank you for all the support. This is merely a pause. I've much more to sing."

Ann also said it would be “the last public statement I’d like to make on the matter”.

Plenty of fans rushed to social media to share their well-wishes, with one replying: "Our sweet Queen ....recover quickly fully, and come back even stronger because that's who you are!!!!!!"

Another wrote: "The only thing that matters is your health. You’ve given so much to the fans. Let us all send our love and prayers for complete and total healing back to you. We love you."

A third said: "Ann, YOU are the most important things to invest your energy in! All of us, your fans, will be there when and if you're ready! Wishing you a speedy and full recovery!!"

Get well soon!
