Music fans have been loving ABBA's Voyage show, and Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has opened up about whether we could see hologram versions of the band.

The star has been discussing the realities of posthumous performances in decades to come.

The ABBA Voyage show has been a roaring success, with holograms of the band.

Jagger told the Wall Street Journal: “You can have a posthumous business now, can’t you? You can have a posthumous tour. The technology has really moved on since the ABBA thing, which I was supposed to go to, but I missed it.”

The band are releasing a new album, and it will include drum parts from the late Charlie Watts.

It will also include bass contributions from founding member Bill Wyman.

Fans can also look forward to a documentary as well.

ABBA welcomed the one-millionth visitor to the show, and Bjorn from the band told NME it had “surpassed any dream I could have ever had”.

“We’ve somehow reached new generations by some miracle. I don’t know how, but there you are,” he said.

He also spoke about other bands using the tech: “We don’t know exactly what it is that we’ve done, which makes it hard to replicate. I don’t know it’s just for another band to do the same thing and expect the same kind of emotional effect that this has had. Not automatically – it’s not that easy.”

Jagger also joked about his age and how it has changed things.

He recently turned 80, and he was asked how it compares to 70: “They’re both big numbers. One’s more than the other one.”

Would you go to a hologram Rolling Stones show?

Mick has also suggested he might leave his back catalogue to a charity instead of his kids.

"The children don’t need $500m to live well. Come on!" he insisted. "You maybe do some good in the world.”
