Ed Sheeran gatecrashed a wedding to play a new song

Imagine having one of the world's most successful musicians performing at your wedding.

That's what happened to one lucky couple after Ed Sheeran crashed a Las Vegas wedding to perforn.

He turned up as a surprise, and even played a brand new song.

Ed was due to play a concert in the region, but was left with time on his hands after it was cancelled for safety reasons.

He played a new romantic ballad called Magical.

The track is taken from his new album, Autumn Variations.

He posted a clip of the moment on his social media.

The star captioned the post: "Crashed a wedding, this is Magical x,"

The couple had exchange vows, and looked stunned to see the star walk in to serenade him.

He hugged the couple after performing the song, and they thanked him before completing their vows with a kiss.

The bride, Jordan, left a heartfelt comment on his post: "THANK YOU SO MUCH for the most magical day of our lives - we’ll truly never forget this or the wedding advice you gave us ."

He then signed their marriage certificate as a witness and posed for a photo.

"I'm really excited to be your witness," he said as he signed the certificate.

He was due to play in Vegas but it was cancelled for safety reasons.
