They're almost too pretty to eat!

Move over standard lemon and sugar, these are the most Insta-worthy pancakes you'll ever see.

You'll definitely have a sugar rush after these.

They're possibly the prettiest pancakes ever, and frankly, we only want to eat rainbows from now on.

TikTok users have been sharing their stacks, and they work surprisingly well.

"This looks so freaking good" praised one fan, with drooling emojis.

"Look at those colours" raved another.

Someone else pleaded: "Damn that looks good, save me some"

"Gonna go make some crepes now" insisted another.

To make your rainbow pancakes, you will need the following:

Four medium eggs, 280g of flour, 400ml of milk, and 50g of unsalted butter.

Line up your food colourings (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, or choose whatever combination you desire!)

Use a different bowl for each food colouring.

Divide the pancake batter between the bowls evenly, and stir in each food colouring so you have several different bowls of coloured mix.

Get frying! Start with whichever colour you want at the bottom of the stack - most people went for blue - and work your way up to red.

For the filling, mix 450ml of double cream and 60g of icing sugar.

Stack your pancakes, sandwiching each with the filling until you reach your desired height.

Some TikTok users went a step further and iced the outside too, to make it into a cake.

Yum!
