As far as venues go, this one is certainly unusual.

Two very special raves will be happening under the wings of a Concorde jet.

The events are taking place at Manchester Airport in one of the hangars.

Music lovers will dance around the iconic plane, the Concorde G-BOAC.

DJs including Dan Shake, Herbie Saccani and Surco residents will perform on March 19.

Put April 9th in the diary for sets from Crazy P, Sharples and Surco residents, if that takes your fancy.

The organisers are describing the events as an “exclusive extravaganza which will see you move and groove the night away inside a hangar occupied by one of only 18 Concordes left around the world.”

The nights will start at 5pm (GMT) and run until midnight with tickets starting at £32.

If it's tickling your fancy you can buy tickets here.

The Concorde G-BOAC is one of only three remaining of its kind in the UK.

If you're not a fan of Concordes but want to rave it up in MCR, another is taking place in Manchester's Victoria Baths.

The events are called “Red Bull Unlocked”, headlined by Afrodeutsche and A Guy Called Gerald.

Joining them on the line up is Mr Scruff, DJ Paulette, Luke Unabomber, Annabel Fraser, Gina Breeze, Ruf Dug and Blasha & Allatt.
