Fancy an adorable brunch?

These sweet-as-sugar sleeping bears are the latest recipe to go viral.

It blends chocolate and pastry with a super-cute design of teddy bears having a nap.

The video was shared on TikTok and soon went viral, and people are sharing their own creations.

One viewer commented: "WHY did I tear up watching this"

Another answered: "Love these, I think I want to make them for my baby’s first birthday."

"This is so cute that I think it would be physically impossible for me to eat it" said one fan with a pained emoji,.

If you want to give these a go yourself, you will need:

  • A roll of pastry

  • A few squares of cooking chocolate

  • An egg

  • Teddy bear biscuits (Teddy Grahams, Barny Biscuits)

  • Icing sugar

  • Egg

Preheat the oven to approximately 210C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Take your pastry sheet and slice it into three or four long slices.

Lay the pastry slices out evenly on your baking tray.

Take two squares of cooking chocolate and place them at the top of each pastry slice - making a sort of mattress and pillow for your teddy bear.

Leave the bottom third of the pastry empty, then add your little teddy bear on top.

Take the remaining piece of pastry and fold it over length-wise, tucking the teddy in.

Use a fork to press into the edges of the pastry bed.

Make an egg wash to gently brush over the pastry.

Finally, put your tray of teddies into the oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

They are then ready to eat (but be sure to take pictures to share first!)
