Forget about stealing Christmas. This festive season you can steal the Grinch's infamous pad. But you need to get over to Utah.

Locals can roll down to Whoville for some much-needed Holiday Cheermister and stay in the iconic cave overnight from December 3rd to December 23rd. They can stay in the multi-level, 5,700 square-foot Boulder residence from the brains of Dr. Seuss Enterprises and holiday rental site Vacasa.

The hand-carved cave is exactly the same as in the movie and is constructed on the side of a stone mountain, equipped with a kitchen full who-liday ham, who-hash and roastable beast, a grand piano, guitar and drum set.

You'll find monogrammed robes and slippers in the bedroom alongside his alarm clock. There's his OTT coffee machine, his eccentric mirror and his flashy snowmobile plus a little bed for pet Max.

The website reads: "While the Grinch is busy planning to steal Christmas this year, he’s trusted Vacasa to host a few adventurous and lucky travellers at his home atop Mt. Crumpit (we're a little better at hosting guests than he is, to say the least)."

The Grinch writes: "Mister Grinch, here. As we are all painfully aware, the most miserable time of the year approaches. Caroling, candy canes, and, of course, that constant, contagious Christmas cheer. Yuck.

"I myself, unlike every other Who, am getting out of town this year—far away from all the holiday hoopla with its fanatical, fantastical fa la la la la, la la la la-ing. Am I stealing Christmas again? Maybe. Am I visiting my Florida beach home? Don’t worry about it.

"Either way, good news for you. While I’m gone, you can stay in my cave.

"That’s right, the legendary rocky residence of the world’s most famous Who-villain can be your very own holiday hideaway. The halls of my entire cave are decked with all my favourite things—and Max’s, too, of course.

"Vacasa will take care of everything (because I have no interest or time for that)."

And the cutest part? To mark the book's 1957 release, it costs just $19.57 to stay there per night.

It doesn't quite work with the exchange rate at £14.76, but we still think it's Grinch-credible.
