Alison Hammond reportedly ‘engaged’ to partner Ben Hawkins

It seems that love is in the air for This Morning star Alison Hammond.

The presenter - who co-hosted the BAFTA Awards 2023 at the weekend - is engaged to her partner of two years, according to MailOnline.

Alison has reportedly been dating landscape gardener Ben Hawkins for two years, and whilst the relationship has been kept out of the public eye, the latter’s father has spoken to the Mail to confirm that the pair are planning to tie the knot. 

When asked by MailOnline if the couple are engaged, Colin Hawkins told them: “I do know they have both proposed to one another but there are no rings that I know of.” 

He continued: “They are really happy but they haven’t got everything sorted just yet but they are both talking about marriage, that is true.”

Describing Alison as “the nicest woman we’ve ever met”, her future father-in-law said: “What I do know is that when it happens, none of us will know about it because it’ll be done in private. That much they have told me.”

Former Big Brother housemate Alison, who has a 18-year-old son Aiden with ex-partner Noureddine Boufaied, recently told My Weekly magazine (via Metro): “There’s someone special and if he wants to pop the question, he can pop away.”

Alison joined legend Richard E. Grant to present this year’s BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday (19th February).

While the Withnail and I actor hosted from the stage, the Big Brother and I’m a Celeb star kept us all up to date with what was going on in the winners room for most of the event. 

She was praised by viewers for her presenting style at the ceremony, not least for calling some of Hollywood’s biggest stars “babes”!
