The spin-off series takes place 15 years after the events of the original show and sees Eric and Donna's daughter Leia (Callie Haverda) head to Point Place, Wisconsin, in the summer of 1995, to spend time with her grandparents Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp).
Actors reprising their original roles included Topher Grace (Eric), Mila Kunis (Jackie), Ashton Kutcher (Michael), Laura Prepon (Donna) and Wilmer Valderrama (Fez).
New regulars included Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi and Sam Morelos.
On Friday (February 3rd), the streaming giant revealed the sitcom would be back for another run. Not only that, but according to TVLine, the new season will be 16 episodes.
Season one ran to 10.
Showrunner Gregg Mettler said in a statement: "All of us at That ’90s Show were beyond excited by the warm, enthusiastic response to our first season."
"We can’t wait to return to Point Place for another summer of laughs and surprises. Hello 1996!"
"We here in Point Place realise you have many options for entertainment and we’re thrilled you chose us," added That 70's Show creators Bonnie and Terry Turner. "We look forward to entertaining you for years to come. Buh-bye!"
We look forward to the episode where Leia's Tamagotchi dies.
