White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge and David Harbour from Stranger Things are teaming up for a new Netflix movie, called We Have A Ghost.

The film follows teenager Kevin (Jahi Winston) who, having moved into a new home with his family, becomes an overnight social media sensation when he encounters a ghost called Ernest, played by Harbour, who is haunting the house.

Having shown videos of the ghost to his dad (Anthony Mackie), Kevin ends up joining forces with Ernest to investigate the mystery of his past. It turns out, you see, that the friendly ghost can’t remember how he died and doesn’t know why he remains stuck in the house.

The investigation hits an early complication, however, when it turns out Ernest can’t actually speak. Then there’s the fact that the CIA, led by Tig Notaro, are hot on the unlikely duo’s heels, and really, really want to bust that ghost.

Meanwhile, Ernest is something of a viral hit.

Isabella Russo plays the neighbour who wants to help solve Ernest’s mystery and Stifler’s mom herself, Jennifer Coolidge, co-stars as a medium. We are very excited to see what the White Lotus legend brings to that role. If the trailer is anything to go by, we’re in for a treat.

The film is written and directed by Christopher Landon, who previously helmed Freaky and Happy Death Day, and worked on the Paranormal Activity sequels.

The cast includes Erica Ash, Faith Ford, Niles Fitch, Isabella Russo, and Steve Coulter.

In related news, earlier this week, Jennifer Coolidge spoke about her White Lotus success and her career renaissance.

We Have A Ghost premieres on Netflix from 24th February.
