The official trailer for Seriously Red has been revealed and here is everything we know about the upcoming film.

What better to get you out of your January slump than a feel good comedy about an aspiring Dolly Parton impersonator?

Well lucky for us, that is exactly what director Gracie Otto has in store with her new movie Seriously Red.

So, here is everything we know about the film.

What is it about?

Seriously Red follows the story of Red, who has recently found herself unemployed. It might seem like a bad thing, but losing her job will allow her to chase her dream of becoming the world’s greatest Dolly Parton impersonator.

After her act grabs the attention of a certain Elvis impersonator and a hot shot booking agent, Red finds herself shooting to fame and becoming the onstage and romantic partner of a top Kenny Rogers impersonator.

From the outside, it looks like all her dreams have come true. However, Red’s life as an imitator starts to feel hollow and she has to learn an important lesson about herself and what it means to find happiness.

Who is in the cast?

Krew Boylan (Primal) will be leading the cast as Red, with Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids, Insidious) as the Elvis Presley impersonator.

Red’s love interest and Kenny Rogers impersonator will be played by Daniel Webber (11.22.63) and Bobby Cannavale (Ant Man) will be taking the part of booking agent Wilson. Other members of the cast include Celest Barber, Thomas Campbell and Todd Lasance.

Danii Minogue also makes a cameo as herself!

When can I watch it?

Seriously Red has already made its debut in Australia and Lionsgate will be premiering the movie in select cinemas in the US from 10th February 2023. No release date has been confirmed for the UK yet, but it is expected to drop on Prime Video next month.
