Dancing on Ice 2023 is heading back to screens sooner than you think.

ITV have released the first-look at hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, as well as judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, former Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse and Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo.

Not only that, but the broadcaster confirmed Dancing on Ice 2023 will begin on Sunday 15th January on ITV1 and ITVX.

In the glittering promotional pictures, all the Dancing on Ice team are dressed to the nines in ball gowns and suits, ready to bring some glam to the new year.

The star-studded cast of this year’s skating competition are busy training on the ice ready for their big debut.

2023’s line-up includes actress Patsy Palmer, football player John Fashanu, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, olympic gymnast Nile Wilson, Coronation Street’s Mollie Gallagher, Drag Queen and TV personality The Vivienne, reality star Joey Essex, comedian Darren Harriott, actress Carley Stenson, Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton and The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran.

The skating pros dancing with them on the ice will be Sylvain Longchambon, Klabera Komini, Alexandra Schauman, Łukasz Różycki, Matt Evers, Vicky Ogden, Mark Hanretty, Brendyn Hatfield, Vanessa Bauer, Colin Grafton and Tippy Packard, with newcomer Olivia Smart joining them for her first year.

The intense training hasn’t been without its pitfalls and accidents, and singer Michelle recently shared how she had an “epic fall” on the ice while training with “one eye.”

Back in October, the performer told her Instagram followers: “I’m absolutely loving, loving the sessions on the ice with my coach,” the singer continued, before sharing that she took quite the tumble during the session too.

She added: “I had an epic fall today, I definitely winded myself and my coccyx is not very happy with me, but hey ho.”

Michelle’s participation, along with the rest of her DOI 2023 cast, was announced last year, and while appearing on ITV’s Lorraine, she explained: “I’m so excited - I can’t believe it. Me and the kids are such huge fans of the show in general.

“I’ve always wanted to do it but I know I would never have been able to complete anything because of the way I was 18 months ago, so I’m really truly grateful that I’ve got it this year when I’m a lot stronger.”

Dancing on Ice returns this January on ITV1 and ITVX.
