Could we soon be seeing Gordon Ramsay making a different kind of Salsa on the Strictly Come Dancing floor? The chef has admitted he's keen for a stint on the dancing show after proudly watching his daughter Tilly who took part in the 19th series.

Tilly and her professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin waltzed into the tenth week of the show and Gordon could be following in his own not-so-talented footsteps.

Appearing on The Jonathan Ross show, he said about his potential and the Gogglebox father-daughter duo: "I would love to dance but I’ve got a huge problem – I’ve got size 15 feet.

"Tilly did it last year and she was amazing. I don’t know. Those dancers are amazing. I’d love to learn how to dance properly."

Talking about jumping on board the TikTok train, he said: "I have three amazing daughters and they inspire me. They started that craze in lockdown. I take their steer."

Speaking about how proud he was over her time on the show and narrowly missed out on a quarter final place, he told fans on social media: "Words can’t describe I proud I am of these 2, hard working polite humble and incredibly down to earth.

"Most of all well done and what a celebration of youth and how happy it makes me feel the future is bright and you 2 will continue to shine lots of love dad."

Chatting to Ross about his new ITV and ITVX show Next Level Chef, he added: "It’s launching next month. It’s three amazing kitchens stacked on top of one another. Basement level kitchen, middle kitchen and top flight kitchen which is incredible.

"In the middle of these kitchens is this incredible platform and it starts from the top and works its way down to the bottom. The idea is you grab ingredients and cook your way to the top floor.

"The difference with the show is how quick you have to pivot. There is no set agenda or set recipes. You’ve got 40 minutes to cook this amazing dish."
