We've got loads of new interviews with your favourite dancers. Let's start with the DJ...

The cast of Strictly Come Dancing 2022 have been speaking exclusively to Virginradio.co.uk this week. We thought we'd let you in on our conversations - and who better to start with than DJ and television and radio presenter, Tyler West, recipient of the first 10 score of 2022?

"We really didn't expect it," says Sutton born Tyler, when asked how he felt about his big score. "I don't know if you can tell by our reactions every single time we watch it back, [dance partner] Dianne [Buswell's] scream was so loud!

"It was a surreal feeling and we didn't expect it. I felt like there was a lot of pressure on that week for multiple reasons, and we just gave our all and like left it all on a dance floor. So it was a real honour. It was a real sort of milestone for us."

Asked what he thought the biggest task he has felt joining the cast of Strictly saw Tyler share his emotions frankly.

"At the start it was just that muscle memory," he says. "Learning the routines, things like that, but also, you just don't now what to expect. Going on to that first show, I remember how nervous I was, and how I was trying to channel my nerves into excitement."

He continues; "There were exciting nerves and then there were, like, nerves, nerves, and there was a lot going on. But I feel like that changes as the weeks go on. I feel like a dancer. I actually feel like I'm into the rhythm of things. Now I'm into the swing of it, I know what to expect on a Monday. I know what to expect on a Thursday. And I'm into the swing of it, but I do feel like that's changing week by week."

How will Tyler and Dianne fare this week? Tune in to find out!

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday 15th October at 6.30pm on BBC One.
