He’s already helped adults drift off on sleep app Calm, but now Harry Styles is about to read for a much younger audience.

The As It Was singer is the latest star confirmed to read a cosy tale for CBeebies Bedtime Story.

Harry will put on his PJs to read 'In Every House, On Every Street’ by Jess Hitchman in the episode, which will air on 23rd May on the children’s channel.

According to the BBC, Harry will open the story by saying: “Tonight’s bedtime story is about a house full of love and laughter.”

The former One Direction star will follow in the famous footsteps of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, Tom Hiddleston, Ellie Goulding, Dave Grohl and Rose Ayling-Ellis.

Of course, fans quickly went mad over the bedtime story confirmation, and shared their feverish reaction online.

One HS fan wrote: “Anyone got a bairn I can borrow,” while another commented: “Sorry my 2 week old has asked to watch cbeebies that night it's definitely his favourite and nothing to do with me.”

A third joked: “Am I 35 years old? Yes I am. Will I be watching CBeebies Bedtime Stories next Monday? Absolutely yes!"

It’s turning out to be a big month for Harry, who is currently celebrating his sixth consecutive week at number one for As It Was, which is the lead single from upcoming album Harry’s House.

CBeebies Bedtime Stories is on each weekday at 6.50pm on the CBeebies channel and is also available on BBC iPlayer.
