Last year’s Strictly Come Dancing champions Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice are waltzing back onto our screens for Comic Relief, and we can’t wait!

The popular pair will get back together to dance live in the studio on Red Nose Day.

Coming just over a month after they finished their live Strictly tour, the duo will be back in front of the television cameras again, as the BBC has announced that they are among the star-studded collection of guests lined up for this year's Red Nose Day show on Friday, March 18th.

The duo will perform their waltz to Ellie Goulding's How Long Will I Love You, which, if you watched the last series of Strictly, you’ll recall was the routine from their semi-final appearance.

EastEnders actor Rose was the first deaf contestant to take part in the competition, and she and Giovanni beat Great British Bake Off champion John Whaite and his dance partner Johannes Radebe in the final.

Rose and Giovanni’s turn on the dancefloor will undoubtedly be unmissable, but it certainly won’t be the only highlight of Red Nose Day. Elsewhere on the night of epic entertainment, Kylie Minogue will join forces with the cast of hit BBC sitcom Ghosts, and comedy legends French and Saunders will reunite for a special Red Nose Day edition of The Repair Shop.

Meanwhile, England footballers Declan Rice and Mason Mount will join Jack Whitehall for Red Nose Day mini-golf special, and Comic Opera is back too, whereby the English National Opera will push six celebrities to their limits in a unique challenge – learning to be opera singers.

Little Britain's Matt Lucas and David Walliams are bringing back their popular Rock Profile, Stephen Fry will read bedtime stories, and Sandi Toksvig will present a special version of QI.

In the studio, Alesha Dixon, David Tennant, Zoe Ball, Paddy McGuinness and Sir Lenny Henry will be amongst the celebs presenting an evening of sketches, live performances, music and surprises from the studio.

A live prize raffle will see AJ Odudu (who had to pull out of last year’s Strictly final due to injury) and Joel Dommett giving away some amazing gifts to the nation.

Red Nose Day will air live on BBC One from 7pm on Friday, March 18th.
