On The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky today, Chris and the team revisited some of the incredible live sessions from the top of the tower over the past few months.

And you can watch a few of the highlights from the sessions that have put a spring in our step on Friday mornings, right here!

James Blunt - Bonfire Heart

James popped in to play a fantastic set in November, following the release of his Greatest Hits record, The Stars Beneath My Feet (2004-2021). Included in his session was a cracking version of his song, Bonfire Heart.

Miles Kane - Don’t Let Me Down

Just last Friday (January 21st), Miles released his new album, Change The Show, and to celebrate he played a belting set at the top of the tower. This included a brilliant version of Don’t Let Me Down, The Beatles’ classic recorded in 1969 during the Let It Be sessions. It was originally released as a B-Side to Get Back.

Natalie Imbruglia - Torn

When Natalie visited in October of last year, her session included a stunning, stripped back version of Torn, her massive hit from 1995. The video for her performance of Torn from the top of the tower has, very deservedly, gained over 1.5 million views!

The Wombats - Let’s Dance To Joy Division

Ahead of the release of their new album, Fix Yourself, Not The World, which last week became the band’s first ever number one record, The Wombats played a typically rocking session on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky. Their set included their iconic tune, Let’s Dance To Joy Division.

Ocean Colour Scene - The Riverboat Song

The legendary band’s live session in November included The Riverboat Song, which was the first single taken from their second studio album, Moseley Shoals. The song reached number four in the charts and was, very memorably, used on TFI Friday.
