The Hollywood actor is the latest big name to lend his vocals to read a bedtime story on CBeebies. Wowing kids and adults alike, the Canadian actor and dad-of-three shows off his paternal side on the popular children's TV show set to air on Friday 16 July.

Reading Maurice Sendak's Where The Wild Things Are, he says: "Well hello, I'm Ryan and I can't be with you in the CBeebies House at the moment. But I really want to read you a Bedtime Story, so here I am all the way from the other side of the world in Canada."

Finishing the story, he tells listeners: "Sometimes even the wildest creatures need to settle down with the people they love and get ready for sleep. Who knows what amazing adventures you'll go on in your dreams tonight? Goodnight wild things, sleep tight."

The Deadpool star - who is married to actress Blake Lively and has daughters - follows the long list of celebs who have graced the CBeebies slot including Loki star Tom Hiddleston, Cat Deeley, Sir Elton John, Dolly Parton, Tom Hardy and Rege-Jean Page.
