Paddington 3 has been confirmed

Paddington is one of those films that even people without kids love. Whenever it's on TV, social media is awash with people raving about it and recommending it, and one of those rare films where people adore a sequel just as much. Well, it's good news for fans of the franchise, as it's been confirmed we're getting a third instalment. 

Representatives from Studiocanal told We can confirm Studiocanal is working very hard on film 3 with the utmost craft and care — as with film 1 and 2.”

There are no details jut yet about the new movie according to reps.

However, previous reports have said they will be teaming up with David Heyman’s Heyday Films. “Paddington” writer-director Paul King previously said he will not direct the third film, but he will still be involved in some way. 

The first two Paddington films were a runaway success, making more than $280 million and $225 million worldwide, respectively.

Ben Whishaw is the voice of Paddington in the films.

Hugh Grant previously said that he would love to be reunited with Nicole Kidman for a third Paddington film, after they starred separately as villains in the first two.
