Forget cooking for Christmas, Lidl have new festive pizzas

Many of us will be having smaller gatherings than usual this year thanks to the pandemic. Instead of going all out for a three-course festive dinner, how about a Christmas pizza?

Lidl has created this unusual item, and it comes with a topping of sprouts, stuffing, brie and cranberry sauce. It has a sourdough base and is priced at £3.29, if you fancy giving it a whirl.

Shoppers are divided over whether this is delicious or disgusting.

The pizza was shared by the Snack News & Reviews Facebook page. 

Commenters didn't hold back:  "Love sprouts but that's a step too far", "Love sprouts, but brie and cranberry sauce are awful".

One person stood up for the controversial mixture: "Me, my partner and daughter tried this last week and we all agreed it was a good choice. The ingredients sound as if they shouldn’t work but they work well together on a pizza!"

As well as sprouts and brie, Lidl has brought out two other pizzas to keep meat-lovers happy this Christmas.

There's a turkey, brie and cranberry festive feast, with ham and caramelised onions, plus a pigs in blankets variety too.
