Joe Perry says new Aerosmith album will be recorded 'when the time is right'

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has said that the band will record their new album 'when the time is right'.

In a recent interview, Perry said that his Hollywood Vampires projext with Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper had put him in the mood to make a new Aerosmith record.

'I had just finished working on my last solo album, so i had been in the studio for the three or four months before we started on the vampires record".

He added, "So I was already rolling in the studio. It doesn't take much to get me going - I love to record. So, when the time is right, Aerosmith will come around to do another record".

The rock giants last album, 'Music From Another Dimension', was released in 2012.
