Glasto celebrate 50 year anniversary with official new book

As if Glasto wasn’t great enough, they are now releasing an official book for its 50th anniversary featuring Noel Gallagher, Chris Marting, Dolly Parton and Jay-Z.

An official Glastonbury festival book entitled will be released in October 2019 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the popular festival which takes place on Worthy Farm in Somerset.

Glastonbury doesn’t officially turn 50 until 2020, but publishers Trapeze have decided to release the book a couple of months early.

The book will also include contributions from festival organisers Michael and Emily Eavis, "There really are so many images and memories that tell the incredible story of the festival’s five decades here at Worthy Farm, and we’re honoured that so many brilliant people have helped us to collect the most iconic ones together for this book," said Michael Eavis.

Trapeze publisher Anna Valentine bought world rights and all languages direct from Glastonbury Festival. The book will include exclusive photos and artwork drawing on archive material celebrating the past 50 years featuring stories and interviews.
