George Ezra confirmed to headline Truck Festival

Truck festival has announced George Ezra and Friendly Fires as headliners. The festival, which celebrates its 21st birthday this year, will open its doors on a Thursday for the very first time.

Peace will be heading up the festival on Thursday 19th July, with Mercury Prize nominated Friendly Fires performing on the Friday, before George Ezra headlines Saturday. The Sunday headliners are expected to be announced in the next wave of acts very soon.

George says: I’m so excited to be playing my first ever Truck Festival and over the moon that my debut gets to be as headliner.  It’s been on my bucket list for a long time.” George recently joined Sam and Amy on the Virgin Radio Breakfast Show, which you can watch here.

Other names announced for the line-up include Jake Bugg, Everything Everything, Circa Waves, Peace, The Amazons, Rat Boy, Gaz Coombes, The Sherlocks, Moose Blood, We Are Scientists and Tom Walker.
