Lady Gaga has continued her protest against Donald Trump, who she blames for "chaos across the USA."

A number of protests and riots took place last night as Trump won the US presidential election, particularly at college campuses.

Lady Gaga took up position outside Trump Towers in New York, staying late into the night to provide a figurehead for the protests in Trump's home city.

She also fought for black and LGBTQ communities on Twitter, saying progress should not be abandoned.

The and singer was previously very active in showing her support for Trump's opponent Hillary Clinton, attending the final rally before her shock defeat to the Republican billionaire on Tuesday.
