Bake Off’s Val: ‘I’ve done parachute jumps and all sorts’

It’s absolutely clear tent favourite Val brought more to than textbook gingerbread and soggy bottom innuendos… she’s a true eccentric with a huge heart.

"I never thought I’d get as far as I did, I’m still stunned!" she admitted to Kate Lawler, describing her time on the show as having been "an honour and a privilege."

There’s no doubt her relentless energy and ‘every day is an adventure’ outlook on life has gained her a huge fanbase, and it’s unsurprising to hear this transfers into her home life as well.
