Anya Taylor-Joy says she wants to be the cool aunt and play the iconic role of Else in Frozen if a live-action remake is made. She certainly looks the part!

The Queen's Gambit and The Menu star has her sights set on a huge role, and we'd love to see it.

Anya opened up about the goal in a new interview with Vogue Hong Kong.

After several high-profile roles, Anya wants to challenge herself further with acting, singing and dancing at the same time.

She was asked what her dream role would be, and revealed: “I would love to do a musical because I’m a bit addicted to hard work."

“I like having an impossible mountain to climb. The idea of having to be able to sing, dance, and act at the same time would just really thrill me.”

“I think Frozen would be pretty great. It would be very fun to shoot ice out of your hand,” she joked.

“Also, you’d just be the favourite at every kid’s birthday party. All of my siblings have children now, so I would love for them to be able to say, ‘My auntie is Elsa.’ That would be pretty sick.”

Frozen was a smash hit for Disney, leading to a sequel, a Broadway and West End show, and a whole new land being built at Disneyland Paris dedicated to it.

At the end of last year, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that Frozen 3 and 4 are in the works.

He confessed he didn’t “have much to say about those films”, but revealed director Jennifer Lee was “hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories” to continue the series.

Exciting!
