It may well be coming home, but Sunday night’s telly isn’t just for those interested in England’s possible Euros victory.

But what are the options for TV viewers across the UK who aren’t interested in Sunday (14th July)’s Spain v England final?

Virginradio.co.uk have taken a look at the TV listings to pick out the best possible diversions from having to view this weekend’s big match.

Titanic, Channel 4, 6.15pm

James Cameron’s three hour plus epic might be just the thing needed to avoid the football on Sunday night. Airing on Channel 4 from 6.15-10pm, assuming the Euros final doesn’t run into extra time or penalties, this film should entertain everyone throughout the duration of the game.

And, depending on how the evening plays out, it may leave you equally as weepy as many others that evening...

Keeping Mum, Channel 5, 9pm

Available to watch from 9pm, this early 00s black comedy starring Maggie Smith, Rowan Atkinson and Patrick Swayze may be what you're looking for to get through the evening with its darkly enjoyable plot.

Rocky III, ITV4, 8pm

Despite being far from the strongest addition to the famous franchise, Rocky III’s story of boxing, celebrity and friendship could provide sports fans who are not keen on the idea of tuning into England v Spain this week all the action you’re looking for.

Gavin & Stacey, BBC Three, 8pm + 8.30pm

Looking for a TV show to enjoy instead of the footie? Well, BBC Three are playing two episodes of Ruth Jones and James Corden’s beloved South Wales and Essex-based series in preparation for the show’s return this Christmas. (And speaking of Wales, for Welsh speakers looking to tune out from the Euros result, there’s also coverage of Tafwyl available from 8pm on S4C.)

Friends Comedy Central (all day)

Looking to sit down and tune out all the football chatter throughout Sunday? Look no further than Comedy Central, which is playing non-stop episodes of Friends from 9am to 10pm this Sunday. Here’s hoping joining Rachel, Joey, Ross, Monica, Chandler and Phoebe will allow you to block out all the football furore with their ever-familiar laugh-track.

Dr Pimple Popper TLC (all evening)

What could prove better entertainment to fill your football-less evening than tuning into TLC’s five episode binge of Dr Pimple Popper? Granted, this choice may not be for everyone, but hey, it’s an option.
