Hollywood’s top 10 highest earning celebrities have been revealed.

Adam Sandler, Margot Robbie and Tom Cruise all made the list, compiled annually by Forbes magazine.

For an insight into exactly how much ever star is estimated to have earned plus the full top 10 ranking, see below.

1. Adam Sandler

Spaceman star Adam Sandler is reportedly the highest earning star, thanks seemingly to his successful deal with Netflix which saw him produce three films for the popular streaming platform in 2023.

His earnings come to $73 million in total, Forbes estimates, leading him to beat Margot Robbie to pole position by over $10 million despite the success of her projects such as Barbie.

2. Margot Robbie

Margot’s earnings were estimated to be $59 million, reflecting the box office triumph of Barbie - which she produced as well as starred in. Her company LuckyChap Entertainment also saw success through producing Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn, no doubt adding to her earnings.

3. Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise’s 2023 earnings were $45 million, Forbes suggests. The magazine predicts Cruise’s fortunes were boosted by his latest Mission Impossible outings’ success at the box office, plus continued on demand sales from films such as Top Gun: Maverick, which was released in 2022.

Making an estimated $43 million last year, Ken star Ryan Gosling has proven he does a lot more than ‘just beach’. In fact, the actor’s role in last summer’s billion dollar movie will likely have brought him revenue not just for his acting, but also for his singing in the streaming services hit ‘I’m just Ken’.

=4. Matt Damon

Like Robbie, this big screen actor recently seen starring in Oppenheimer has also effectively upped his annual earnings by launching a production company (in a partnership with his fellow actor Ben Affleck). Damon’s estimated earnings are $43 million, meaning he is tied with Gosling for fourth position on this list.

6. Jennifer Anniston

Next up on the rich list is Friends star Jennifer Anniston, who Forbes estimates earned $42 million this year. The magazine explains how much of this wealth comes from the residuals which she still earns for her role in the hugely popular sitcom, but also stresses how her new projects such ads The Morning Show and her work promoting brands such as Uber will have increased her revenue last year.

=7. Leonardo DiCaprio

Leo’s estimated annual earnings in 2023 were $41 million, carried mostly by his starring role in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar nominated film, Killers Of The Flower Moon.

=7. Jason Statham

Like DiCaprio, Statham earned a reported $41 million last year, boosted by his leading roles in films such as Fast X and Meg 2: The Trench in 2023.

9. Ben Affleck

Matt Damon’s Artists Equity partner just about made the top 10 Hollywood earners list with a total estimated earnings of $38 million.

10. Denzel Washington

After the success of the third instalment of his Equalizer franchise, it should be no surprise Denzel Washington just about made this list with an estimated earnings of $24 million last year.
