With five couples left in the Strictly Come Dancing, we’ve officially reached the quarter-final stage, and the songs and routines have been announced for Musicals Week.

Following a trip to Blackpool, Saturday’s Strictly (25th November) saw the remaining couples return to London and attempt to make it to the quarters. Sadly for Virgin Radio’s own

Angela Scanlon, and her professional partner Carlos Gu, she lost the dreaded dance-off against Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, and so left the competition.

This leaves Bobby Brazier, Annabel Croft, Layton Williams, Ellie Leach and Nigel Harman as the five remaining celebrities, who will now dance their socks off with their professional partners in the hope of making it to the semi-final. And they will be dipping into the West End when doing so.

The Strictly Come Dancing Week 11 songs and routines are as follows:

Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe: Foxtrot to For Good from Wicked

Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell: Salsa to (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing

Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola: Quickstep to Belle from Beauty And The Beast

Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin: Paso Doble to Backstage Romance from Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Nigel Harman and Katya Jones: Charleston to Step In Time from Mary Poppins

Speaking exclusively to prior to her elimination, Angela Scanlon reflected on how taking part in the beloved dancing series has changed her for the better, and how a major reason for taking part in the first place was to be pushed “so far out of my comfort zone.”

Now, the five couples left are set for a night of dazzling showtunes from some theatre classics.

Strictly Come Dancing returns for Musicals Week on Saturday 2nd December at 7:25pm on BBC One.
