Strictly Come Dancing is shimmying its way back onto our TV screens — and there's even more exciting, toe-tapping news as the Strictly Live Tour 2024 has been confirmed.

While the hit BBC show is edging closer and closer, the live tour has been announced including judges Anton Du Beke, (director) Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas along with a host of celebrity contestants and professional dancers for 30 sparkly shows across the UK.

The tour will kick off at Birmingham's Utilita Arena from January 19 and will go onto wow in Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham and London.

It Takes Two's Janette Manrara is back as host, plus the Strictly Live Tour Band and singers are also back for the showstopper. Strictly’s Head Judge Shirley Ballas said: "I’m delighted to be judging the Strictly Live Tour once again - there is never a dull moment alongside Anton and Craig! The audiences are always electric, the atmosphere is amazing, and Anton has promised me lots of surprises! I can’t wait for January next year when we get the show on the road."

"It was my first Strictly tour earlier this year and I was blown away by the scale and spectacle of the live experience. So, I'm thrilled to be back with all the gang next year and look forward to another incredible tour," Anton Du Beke added.

Director Craig Revel Horwood added: “What better way to start the new year than with the Strictly LiveTour! It’s going to be gorgeous to be back on the road with Shirley, Anton, and Janette.Joining us to entertain you all will be an A-MAZ-ING line-up of celebrities and professionaldancers from this year’s series. And, as you would expect, we will have a few extra specialsurprises in store for the arena audiences along the way."

The audience will decide who wins the Glitterball Trophy each performance, while a British Sign Language interpreter will be present and displayed on two big screens at the side of the stage.

Strictly is back for its 21st series with the celebrity line-up including Emmerdale's Adam Thomas, Channel 4 newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy, World and Paralympic Champion Jody Cundy, Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington and Love Island star Zara McDermott.

During the launch show, the 15 contestants performed on stage for the first time, the celebrity and professional pairings were announced and a touching tribute was paid to late head judge Len Goodman.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday 23rd September at 6.15pm on BBC One.
