The NTAs, or National Television Awards, are right around the corner, meaning some of telly’s biggest names will be hitting the red carpet to celebrate the best on the box.
There are a total of 16 prizes at this year's awards, which will be announced at a star-studded ceremony to be hosted by Joel Dommett.
The National Television Awards have been running for 28 years, with 403 prizes handed out since its inception. The annual event recognises the very best in British telly, and one of the few that the public are allowed to vote for.
But who will walk away a winner, and when can we watch it at home? Here’s everything you need to know about the 2023 NTAs.
Who is nominated for an NTA prize?
With 16 prizes up for grabs, there are plenty of chances for the UK’s telly talent to nab a prestigious NTA gong.
Having dominated the TV Presenter Award for years and years, Ant and Dec are once again up for the prize, and will face the likes of Alison Hammond and Martin Lewis.
Meanwhile, TalkTV’s Piers Morgan will go head to head with our own Graham Norton in the TV Interview category, with his Uncensored TalkTV show taking on The Graham Norton Show. They both face Louis Theroux Interviews… and The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show in the category, which is new to the NTAs
Elsewhere, Death in Paradise offshoot Beyond Paradise won over eight million viewers and earns a place in the New Drama category, where it competes against police drama Blue Lights.
The Traitors features in the shortlist for Reality Competition, as does Race Across the World.
Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now and Matt Willis: Fighting Addiction are in the Authored Documentary, with Deborah James: Bowelbabe in Her Own Words and Rob Burrow: Living with MND.
Happy Valley stars Sarah Lancashire and James Norton continue their epic battle in the Drama Performance category, and the show is also up for Returning Drama, along with Call The Midwife.
Meanwhile, Paul O’Grady received a posthumous nomination for the final series of For the Love of Dogs, as did Dame Deborah James in the Authored Documentary category, for Deborah James: Bowelbabe in Her Own Words
