Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is back - how to get it early and is pumpkin chai available in the UK?

Autumn is almost upon us, and with it comes the arrival of the iconic Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Fans were excited when the coffee chain teased some new arrivals last week saying they would be available from the 24th August - only to be crushed when realising it was just for the US.

The release date for the UK has been confirmed as September 7th in the UK - however there is a way to get your hands on one earlier.

As well as the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte, there will also be an iced version and a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino blended drink.

Serious coffee fans can get the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and if you want some merch you can purchase pumpkin-themed reusable cups and a pumpkin mug.

Some fans are furious at the absence of the Pumpkin Cream Chai Latte, which had been advertised for customers in the US.

"UK Starbucks please please I can't do this just give me the pumpkin iced Chai" wrote one.

"UK Starbucks is TRASH! why was i so excited for the pumpkin spice chai latte for it to only be in the US" added another.

The US also had an apple crisp flavoured drink, as well as a pastry which doesn't appear on the UK menu.

Prices for the Pumpkin Spice Latte start at £4.20 for a tall, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew starts at £4.15, and the Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino starts at £4.25.

If you've never tried a PSL, it is coffee teamed with pumpkin spice flavoured sauce, steamed milk, and whipped cream and cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.

If you download the Starbucks Rewards app, you'll be able to get a drink a week earlier, from Thursday 31 August.

This year also marks the 20th anniversary of the creation of the pumpkin spice latte, so if you've never had one before this might be the year to indulge.
