How would you feel about five-hours straight of pure Taylor Swift music in a club? Our Kate Lawler got people deep into a Swift-inspired debate when talking about going to a Swiftogeddon.

The chart dominator has club nights dedicated solely to her and her music, called Swiftogeddon, which last over five hours in honour of the pop star and to cater for her most dedicated Swifties.

Our Kate, who's sitting in for Ricky Wilson today and tomorrow, was astounded to discover that the event doesn't repeat ANY of Taylor's songs.

She told Virgin Radio listeners: "Last year I discovered what Swiftogeddon is. If you're not aware, it's a club across the UK that only plays Taylor Swift songs back to back, nonstop Taylor Swift all night from 9pm until 2am.

"How would you feel being in a nightclub that only played Taylor Swift? I'm not sure how I feel about it, but it's something that I'd love to experience.

"You know, if after an hour I'm done and I'm Taylor Swift-ed out, then I'll leave. I just cannot believe you go five hours. They must repeat songs?"

When she was informed that no songs were repeated over the evening, she shrieked: "No?! What? Hit machine."

On her latest single Anti-Hero, Kate said: "This song has only been out nine months. It's due to hit 1 billion streams this week."

One fan commented: "I've been to Swiftogeddon 9 times (going to my 10th on Friday) and can confirm it’s one of the best experiences I’ve ever had!! Why would you not want to go to a night that’s just Taylor Swift?"

"The most safest club experience as well. You’re in good hands when you’re surrounded with Swifties," remarked another.

"Kate Lawler needs to come back to Virgin Radio! She’s just fab - so funny and so real!" praised a third.

Kate is in for Ricky Wilson on drivetime this week, Tues 18th and Weds 19th, 4-7pm.
