BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood should probably listen to the age-old advice of never working with animals!
The TV star was delivering her weather forecast from Wimbledon on Tuesday (4th July) with adorable dog Wraith by her side.
The segment went smoothly as usual, with Carol stroking the lovely pup while throwing back to hosts Jon Kay and Sally Nugent, but it was only then that chaos kicked off.
“He’s just perfect,” Carol cooed as she handed back to the studio, but Wraith had other ideas, quickly getting back up to his feet.
Wraith then exited stage left while Carol was still holding on to his leash, which might’ve been her biggest mistake.
The Strictly alum squealed that she “has a history with dogs” before being pulled off her feet by the rambunctious hound.
Recognising the rather familiar scenario, Carol then burst out laughing as she sat on the floor.
“I can’t believe it’s happened again,” the presenter squealed. “It’s the Chelsea Flower Show all over again.”
Carol was referring to another hilarious moment when another excitable canine, called Flash, decided she had other places to be and pulled Carol off-screen during the 2021 Chelsea Flower Show.
In that run-in (or run-off), Carol was dragged to her hands and knees when Flash decided their on-screen moment was over, which left the weather expert’s legs the only thing on screen.
Former BBC Breakfast hos Dan Walker told viewers: "Oh we have a Kirkwood down, Kirkwood down, someone save Carol. Are you alright, Carol?"
