Margot Robbie broke the internet when the first trailer for Barbie was released, with fans wondering how her foot made the iconic doll shape.
In the advert, Margot’s Barbie is seen stepping out of a pair of pink, fluffy heels.
Rather than her feet collapsing onto the floor, her foot remains in the arched position made famous by the dolls.
Many asked if CGI was involved for the image.
It turns out, it was all Margot.
The star has revealed there was no computer trickery, no harnesses, and no special stunts.
The reality is a lot less glamorous, with the star revealing she "held onto a bar" to achieve the perfect shot.
Margot was joined by Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae and America Ferrera, and revealed how long it took to get the shot.
"Probably about eight takes. They are my feet," she added.
She explained the process: "I walked up, we had little sticky bits on the floor, for the double-sided tape for the shoes so they wouldn’t come off – so I could get my feet out of them.
"I was holding onto a bar, but that’s it. I wasn’t in a harness or anything like that. I just walked up, kind of held onto the bar above camera."
She revealed she did ballet when she was younger too which helped.
Greta Gerwig says fans should expect the unexpected.
