Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are reuniting for a new Grand Tour in just a few weeks.
Amazon Prime Video has confirmed that the show will return in June, and the trio will reportedly take on a 1,400-mile journey from Gdansk in Poland, through Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia.
The Sun reports that, while on the road, Jeremy, James and Richard will sample some Soviet-style Formula 1 and recruit a famous racing driver. They will also apparently encounter some deadly archers and take part in a spectacular Fast And Furious-style climax.
The reportedly standalone show will be called Eurocrash, as announced by Prime Video’s Twitter account. The tweet reads: “An unlikely road trip through Central Europe - in cars you'd never have dreamed of. Join the guys in #TheGrandTourEurocrash, coming Friday 16th June! 🚗 🚙 🏎️”
The tweet featured three photos from the new show.
Eurotrash will be the first new episode in almost a year, and an inside source told The Sun: “This will be a special like no other – and fans are going to lap it up.
“Nobody thought Central Europe would be an option for a road trip, but the lads have well and truly proven it’s a great destination for petrolheads.”
Jeremy Clarkson recently sparked speculation of the return of The Grand Tour by posting a reunion picture of the three presenters on Instagram. The picture shows them smiling on a boat.
The first three series of The Grand Tour each had ten episodes. After Covid hit, the show instead changed its format to sporadic feature-length episodes. Their latest was A Scandi Flick, which saw them visit Sweden, Norway, and Finland.
Their next adventure which has apparently recently finished filming in Mauritania.
The Grand Tour Eurocrash will premiere on Amazon Prime on Friday 16th June.
