We're giving you a chance to win a pair of tickets to the gig in Manchester on 19th July 2025 plus £10,000 in cash in our new competition run across the News Broadcasting network of radio stations. Text OASIS to 83338. Text entries cost £2 plus your standard network rate. Please make sure you have the bill-payer’s permission. Alternatively you can enter by post by sending your name, email address and contact details including telephone number to 'OASIS Competition' PO Box 3190, Colchester, CO2 8GP.
The small print:
You can enter a maximum of 21 times by text message and up to 60 times by post.
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and be a resident of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) to take part.
Opening and closing date. The competition opens for entries at 16:00 (GMT) on 22 November 2024. The competition closes at 11pm on 16 December 2024 for text entries, and postal entries must be received at the above address by 5pm on 19 December 2024.
How the winner is selected. One lucky winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.

OASIS COMPETITION RULES
Terms and Conditions
1. By entering this OASIS Competition (the Promotion), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the Terms and Conditions). Completion and submission of an entry will also be deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between any terms referred to in promotional materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.
2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to cancel, modify or amend the Promotion and/or these Terms and Conditions. Any such cancellation or any material amendment will be notified by posting the updated Terms and Conditions on the Promoter’s website.
Eligibility
3. The Promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) who are aged 18 years or older.
4. The following individuals are not eligible to enter the Promotion:
a) employees and agents of the Promoter, News Corp UK & Ireland Limited (or any group companies of the Promoter or News Corp UK & Ireland Limited);
b) employees and agents of (i) any organisation directly connected with the operation or fulfilment of the Promotion (including third party promotional partners);and (ii) any associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies of such organisations or partners; and
c) the immediate families and household members of all such employees and agents referred to in (a) and (b).
5. By entering the Promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and are eligible to claim the Prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Promotion.
6. The Promotion starts at 16:00 (UK time) on 22 November 2024 and closes at 11:00PM (UK time) on 16 December 2024 for text entries. Postal entries must be received by 5:00PM (UK Time) on 19 December 2024 (the Promotion Period). Any entries received outside the Promotion Period will be void.
7. You must comply with the laws that apply to you in the jurisdiction that you access the Promotion from. If any laws applicable to you restrict or prohibit you from entering the Promotion, you must comply with those laws and, if applicable, refrain from entering the Promotion.
Entries
8. To enter the Promotion:
a) By SMS: text any of the following valid keywords:
WIN
CASH
PRIZE or
OASIS to 83338 during the Promotion Period.
Each text costs £2 (two pounds) plus one standard network rate message. The total cost for an SMS entry will depend on the participant’s network; OR
b) by post: send your full name, email address and contact telephone number on a postcard or on or within an envelope to OASIS Competition, PO Box 3190, Colchester, CO2 8GP. Where an entrantsubmits multiple entries within a single envelope, only one entry will be entered into the Promotion
9. Each participant can submit a maximum of 14 (fourteen) paid text entries (therefore a maximum of 21 text entries including entries obtained in an offer) and 60 (sixty)postal entries during the Promotion Period. Bulk orautomatically generated are void.
10. If a participant enters the Promotion during the Promotion Period by SMS, they will be invited to take part in the following offer:
a. If they enter the Promotion a second time by sending a text at the premium rate of £2 (plus the standard network rate) using the same mobile number during the Promotion Period, they will receive an additional entry at no extra cost.
b. The free additional entry will automatically be included after the participant enters the Promotion a second time (i.e. by sending the second text message). A third text message is not required to claim the free additional entry.
c. If a participant enters the Promotion a third time by sending a text message at the premium rate of £2 (plus the standard network rate) using the same mobile number during the Promotion Period, the cycle restarts. Therefore if they enter the Promotion a fourth time (i.e. by sending a fourth text message at the premium rate of £2 plus the standard network rate), they will receive another additional entry at no extra cost.
d. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that if they choose to accept the offer, the subsequent SMS message is sent within the Promotion Period; otherwise, the additional entry and free entry may be charged but not included in the draw.
11. Misspelt entries may be accepted, at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final.
12. The Promoter is not responsible for any defective entries or errors within entries (i.e. which may occur through a mobile phone network error or handset error).
13. The Promoter reserves the right to remove or temporarily suspend from the Promotion any entries submitted whereit reasonably suspects any breach of these Terms and Conditions or if it receives any complaint from any third party relating to such entry.
14. Any entries received other than via SMS to the number above, or post to the address above, will not be accepted. Use of script, macro or any automated system to enter the Promotion is prohibited. Entries made (or which appear to have been made) using any such system may be treated as void. Any illegible, incomplete or fraudulent entries will be rejected.
15. Entries from Northern Ireland are not eligible for this Promotion. Any text entries received from Northern Ireland will not be valid but you may still be charged.
16. If participants that enter via SMS do not wish to receive marketing texts about future competitions, or similar products and services, they should text STOP to 83338.
17. If participants do not provide any of the mandatory information requested when participating in the Promotion, their entry will be void.
18. Proof of sending post or an SMS text message is not proof of receipt by the Promoter of any entries.
Winners and Prizes
19. There will be only one winner of the Promotion (the Winner), who will receive the Prize (as defined below). The Winner will be selected at random from all valid entries for this Promotion received during the Promotion Period by a computer process that produces verifiably random results. There will be no prizes for any other entrants.
20. The Prize is £10,000 (ten thousand pounds sterling) in cash, and 2 (two) General Admission standing tickets to see OASIS play at Heaton Park, Manchester on Saturday 19thJuly 2025 (the Oasis Tickets). Winner and their guest are responsible for travel to and from the event at their own expense.
21. If the Oasis Tickets become unavailable for any reason, Promoter reserves the right, without notice to the Winner and at its sole discretion, to substitute the Oasis Tickets for tickets for a different event taking place on a different date.
22. The Oasis Tickets are subject to Ticketmaster’s terms and conditions found at ticketmaster.co.uk/legal. The Winneragrees to be bound by the Ticketmaster terms and conditions, as well as the rules and regulations of the particular venue.
23. The Prize is as stated, and is non-exchangeable and non-transferable. The Winner has no right to request or receive an alternative to the Prize in whole or in part.
24. The Winner is responsible for paying all costs and expenses that are not included within the Prize, but are incidental to the Winner redeeming the Prize including (for example) transport, accommodation, meal costs, spending money, insurance and any other incidentals. The Winner is also personally responsible for any personal expenses and any VAT, national and/or local tax liabilities (if any) incurred in claiming or using the Prize.
25. By participating in the Promotion, participants agree that the Prize is awarded on an "as is" basis, and that neither the Promoter nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies, make any guarantees, representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the Prize.
26. In addition to the provisions in Clause 17 above, in the event that, for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter is unable to award the Prize as described in these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to award a prize of a similar nature and an equivalent value. The Promoter also reserves the right to award a prize of a similar nature and an equivalent value, if in its reasonable discretion it is appropriate to do so.
27. The Promoter reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the Promotion (including altering the Prize) if, in its discretion, the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified. In the event of a printing or other error resulting in there being more Winners than Prizes, the Promoter reserves the right to:
a. declare as void any claims or entries resulting from such printing or other error; and/or
b. allocate the available Prize through a further draw or to divide the Prize or the value of the Prize between the Winners of the Promotion.
Winner Notification and Claiming Prize
28. The Promoter will use its reasonable endeavours to notify the Winner by phone within 48 (forty-eight) hours after the end of the Promotion Period. The Winner needs to confirm acceptance of the Prize within 48 hours of being notified they have won. The Winner may be required to submit valid identification before receiving the Prize.
29. If the original Winner (i) cannot be contacted within this 48 (forty-eight) hour window; or (ii) refuses or is unable to confirm acceptance of the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw a new Winner (at random, using a computer process that produces verifiably random results), from the remaining valid entries that were received during the Promotion Period.
30. The cash element of the Prize will be paid into the Winner’s nominated UK bank account by BACS transfer within a reasonable time and by no later than 28 (twenty eight) days after the Prize has been accepted.
31. The Oasis Tickets element of the Prize will be delivered to the Winner via the Ticketmaster App a few days before the event. The Winner will need to download the Ticketmaster App in order to receive the Oasis Tickets.
32. The Promoter proposes to publish the name of the Winner(subject to any objections). To see the Winner’s name, please send a stamped self-addressed envelope, by notlater than 28 (twenty-eight) days after the end of the Promotion Period to News UK, Promotions Department, 1 London Bridge Street, London, SE1 9GF clearly indicating which Promotion you would like the Winner’s details for.
33. If a Winner objects to their information being published and/or made available as described above, they should inform the Promoter at the earliest opportunity by emailing feedback@talksport.co.uk. The Winneracknowledge that the Promoter may still be required to share their details with the Advertising Standards Authority or other regulators.
Publicity and Data Protection
34. The Promoter will collect and process participants' personal information in accordance with the privacy policy at http://www.newsprivacy.co.uk/single/. The information provided by participants may be shared with the Promoter's agents, affiliates and, if applicable, any third party prize provider (including those outside the UK/European Economic Area) who will process such information in accordance with their own privacy policy. Personal information provided by participants will only be used for the purpose of conducting this Promotion (including for delivery of the Prize).
35. The Promoter is required to either publish or make available information that indicates a valid award took place. As such (and subject to any objections of the Winner) the Promoter will send the surname and county of the Winner to anyone that contacts the Promoter at the address given above by no later than 28 (twenty-eight) days after the end of the Promotion Period.
Liability
36. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall in any way limit or exclude the Promoter's liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for any other matter where liability may not be limited as a matter of law.
37. Subject always to Clause 1, the Promoter will not be responsible for any damage, loss or injury resulting from participants' entry into the Promotion or their acceptance and/or use of the Prize, or for technical, hardware or software failures, lost, faulty or unavailable network connections or difficulties of any kind that may limit or prohibit participant's ability to participate in the Promotion. Your statutory rights are not affected.
38. The Promoter will not be responsible for any lost, damaged, defaced, incomplete, illegible or otherwise unreadable entries.
39. Without prejudice to an entrant’s statutory rights and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any lossor damage incurred by or any personal injury or death occurring as a result of, taking up a Prize.
40. The title in the Prize and any risk of loss or damage to the Prize will pass to the Winner upon delivery of the Prize to such Winner. The Promoter is not liable for or obliged to replace any defective, lost, damaged or stolen Prize where such defect, loss or damage is not due to the fault and/or negligence of the Promoter.
General
41. The Promoter's decision as to the Winner of the Prize is final and binding on the entrants. The Promoter will not enter into correspondence with entrants in relation to this decision.
42. Participants agree to keep confidential any information of any nature regarding the Promoter and its businesses, personnel, agents, sponsors and event promoters received by participants as a result of winning or participating in any Promotion.
43. The Promoter reserves the right to require the participants to prove that they are eligible. If a Winner issubsequently found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to another participant and to require the return of the Prize (or any portion of the Prize) if already awarded.
44. Unless otherwise stated in the promotional materials, this Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the manufacturer or service provider of the relevant Prize. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to the manufacturer or service provider of the relevant Prize (although, if an entrant wins, their details may be disclosed to the Prize provider in order to provide them with the Prize).
45. Entrants must not do anything illegal and/or dangerous and/or that would put themselves or others at any risk.
46. Any participant who enters or attempts to enter the Promotion in a manner, which in the Promoter's reasonable opinion is contrary to these Terms and Conditions or by its nature is unjust to other entrants (including tampering with the operation of the Promotion, cheating, hacking, deception or any other unfair playing practices such as intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other participants or the Promoter and/or any of its agents or representatives) may be rejected from the Promotion at the Promoter's sole discretion. Furthermore, where such actions have significantly impaired the Promotion, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, add further stages to the Promotion as it deems reasonably necessary in order to resolve any problems arising from such actions.
47. The Promoter may amend or withdraw any element of a competition, prize draw, vote or poll for reasons beyond their reasonable control. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to you as a result of any event outside the Promoter’s control.
48. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute or claim arising in association with the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions.
49. The Promoter may transfer all or part of its rights under these Terms and Conditions to someone else without obtaining your consent; provided such transfer does not significantly disadvantage you.
50. Any provision of these Terms and Conditions which is deemed illegal and/or prohibited or unenforceable under any applicable law will be ineffective to the extent of such illegality, prohibition or unenforceability without invalidating the remaining provisions.
